Description: 23rdBrowser*
is a handy slimware alternative in the browser wars. This modest
Web browser is small, elegant, and has enough features to satisfy
most surfing needs. Although it requires Internet Explorer 4.x
as a foundation to deliver Web content and extras like Java and
scripting, it adds some nice touches of its own. Features include
a customizable favorites database you can store on a floppy (handy
for shared machine environments); selectable home, search, and
startup pages; and an IP address display for gaming and chat use.
The browsers main selling point is an integrated Pop-up window
filter. Options let you allow all, parent-only, or no sub windows.
While 23rdBrowser would benefit from some polish and a bit of
documentation, it's a nicely priced solution for everyday surfing.
