April 1, Saturday- 7:14 am CST- April Fools day!!! Here is a download just for it: Fatal Error* is a small but nasty little joke program that consists of a single .exe file. When run, it displays a message box that says, "Warning... Your system has become unstable." You're presented with three buttons: Abort, Retry, and Ignore. Depending on the one you push, you'll get another dialog that looks like it will erase all data on the C: drive, format the C: drive, or delete the operating system. Put this in the unsuspecting victim's Startup folder and watch them squirm -- as long as their system has the VB6 runtime on it.

MP3 Liquid Burn* makes exact original CD recordings from MP3 files. A great utility that has alot of great functions. Very fast and very efficient. Other features include DVD, listening room and lots of other great features.

New Downloads: BullsEye 2 is a superb ad-supported desktop search agent that enables you to fully exploit untapped resources of the Internet. At its simplest, it lets you supply a URL and click the download button to download a page and all first-level links. At its most complex, it gives you complete control over which pages are downloaded. You can include and exclude downloads from individual servers, folders, URLs, and pages and use keyword inclusion/exclusion lists to define individual page downloads.

March 13, Monday- 4:23 pm CST- New Downloads: FlashGet(JetCar)* Use FlashGet(JetCar) to manage your Internet downloads. It's convenient, easy to use, and the price can't be beat. This handy system tray utility provides a small, always-on-top drop box and monitors your Clipboard for downloadable URLs. When a download is detected or dropped onto the box, FlashGet(JetCar) speeds up the download process (especially for high-speed modems) by splitting the file into several pieces and transferring them simultaneously. This handsome program is very easy to use: Create a new project, select from a range of download options, and click the Start Download button. WebCopier downloads multiple files simultaneously and creates an easily navigable tree of the Website. New Downloads: CipherNet* is a full featured web browser. You will be able to search the Net with the search engine. It also has a skin (not customizable in this version) as well as an HTML editor to create your own webpages or see the source of the one you are visiting. Also included is a simple upload/download FTP client. You can also use CipherNet with your paybars. URLy Warning is a free, ad-supported offering that monitors selected Web pages for changed content. It's lightweight, unobtrusive, and works quite nicely. January 3, Monday 2000 3:51 pm CST- Download of the Day: Advanced Mail List Verify (AMV) - program for ail lists verifying to determine which of addresses in mail list are dead. The program works on the same algorithm as ISP mail systems do. Mail servers addresses for e-mail are extracted from DNS. AMV tries to connect with found SMTP-servers and simulates the sending of message. It does not come to the message sending - AMV disconnect as soon as mail server informs does this address exist or not.
