The Year 2000 Problem, Y2K for short. A problem that has had worldwide attention. It if predicted that 60 billion dollars will be spend worldwide to fix all vital computers. Problems associated with this include, inaccessible bank accounts, power outages, and flight delays. But y2k goes beyond 2000, the next critical date will be February 29, 2000, a leap year. This may disable many computers. It never helps to be prepared.
